Goodbye to 100 million euros per season for the UEFA Champions League, which saw a maxi deal with the popular crypto exchange Crypto go up in smoke. This partnership was supposed to replace the current one with Gazprom. What is even more shocking is that the new deal almost tripled the current value placed at 40 million euros per season. If everything had gone as it was supposed to, Crypto.Com would have sponsored the Champions League for a full five seasons, until 2027. Unfortunately, for the past 60 weeks or so, the cryptocurrency market has been facing a major crisis referred to by all as the crypto winter. It may have been this situation that has held Crypto.com back.
It is true that there was talk of 100 million euros for five seasons, but it is certainly not a liquidity problem that has ruined this possible partnership. This crypto exchange is highly regarded by investors and traders around the world for its consistently cutting-edge features and a rewards program tied to its crypto debit cards.
